BLAGOVESHCHENSK, December 09, 7:34 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin will inspect spaceport Vostochny (eastern), which is under construction in Amur Region. He arrived in the area on Monday.
Konstantin Chmarov, regional minister in charge of the spaceport construction, said Rogozin together with Roscosmos (Federal Space Agency) chief Oleg Ostapenko would make a helicopter flight over the ground insfrastructure, tour the launch and enginering facilities, an industrial service basis and a residential development estate under construction there, and inspect the electric supply system.
The name of a permanent chief of spaceport Vostochny will be possibly made known later in the day. Rogozin last visited the Vostochny in August.
