MOSCOW, December 09, 2:20 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's President Vladimir Putin will hold a conferenceon Monday on the elaboration of professional standards, the Kremlin press service reported.
"To elaborate and introduce present-day professional standards is a major component of a further modernization of the national econmy," a press service official pointed out. "Efforts to create a national system of professional qualifications are being made together with entrepreneurial and professional associations".
The adoption of a National plan for the development of professional standard is provided for by the May social decrees issued by the President of Russia, which are aimed at establishing a solid economic basis of social development.
Vice-Premier Olga Golodets, Assistants to the President Andrei Belousov and Andrei Fursenko, Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Labour and Social Protection Minister Maxim Topilin, as well as the leaders of professional associations will take part in the President-chaired conference.
