Customs officers of Russia’s South ready to work with participants, guests of Olympics

SOCHI, December 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Customs officers of Russia’s South have ended preparations for the work at the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2014 in Sochi, deputy head of the Russian Federal Customs Service (FTS) Sergei Komlichenko told Itar-Tass.

During the preparations for the Olympic Games, the Customs Service conducted professional adaptation of its staff. New jobs and the additional customs infrastructure have been created, Komlichenko said.

“Customs control will be conducted at customs offices of the Moscow air hub, the Southern Customs Directorate, the Sochi, Krasnodar, Novorossiisk, Rostov and Taganrog customs services,” he said, adding “Major load will be taken by customs services of Moscow airports.
