Passenger airplane makes emergency landing in Khabarovsk

VLADIVOSTOK, December 5. /ITAR-TASS/. An SRG-200 passenger plane en route from the city of Blagoveshchensk to Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East has had to make an emergency landing at the regional Khabarovsk airport because of cockpit decompression, a spokesman for the the Far Eastern Federal District transport police directorate told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

The aircraft landed at 2:20pm local time. None of the 29 passengers or three crew members was injured.

Transport police investigators are probing into the forced landing and the causes of cockpit decompression.
