MOSCOW, December 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s efforts to settle the situation in Syria helped prevent World War III, a Finnish expert, Johan Beckman, told a news conference at the Itar-Tass news agency on Wednesday.
“Russia’s position is higher than the U.N., which did little for Syria. The situation is now normalizing in the country,” Beckman said.
“Russia’s authority is growing in the world. Today the country can settle any crisis,” the Finnish expert said, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov played a big role in resolving global issues.
