Police checking 3 buildings of Moscow shopping mall after bomb threat call

MOSCOW, December 04. /ITAR-TASS/. The police are checking three buildings of the trading and entertainment center Vavilon (Babylon) after an anonymous bomb threat call, the press service of the Moscow police told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“An unidentified caller informed the police call center about a bomb planted at the trading and entertainment center Vavilon. Over the bomb threat call the police are checking three buildings of the shopping centers in Dekabristov Street, on Mira Avenue and Novoyasenevsky Avenue. The police dog handlers are working with the sniffer dogs trained to search for explosives,” the press service said.

The police reported that a total of 4,000 people were evacuated from two first trading centers, the evacuation was not done in the third center, because the shopping center was closed at the moment of the bomb threat call.

At the same time the police are carrying out an operation to detain the unnamed telephone terrorist.
