MOSCOW, December 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Electricity supply has been interrupted in three districts of Chechnya due to the bad weather, a source in the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass.
“Electricity has been switched off in 77 settlements of Sharoi, Itum-Kalin and Shatoi districts of Chechnya at 10:40 a.m. Moscow time due to the bad weather,” the source said.
In total, 50,000 people have been left without power, the source added.
Rescue and recovery operations are underway.
