Finland will seek lifting of visa requirements for Russia

This may not only increase a mutual flow of tourists, but will also create favorable conditions for the implementation of major investment projects

IZOPLIT SETTLEMENT (Tver region), December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Finland will seek the lifting of the visa regime with Russia, Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Jan Vapaavuori said at a ceremony to unveil phase 1 of Finnish Paroc heat insulators manufacturer’s plant.

The minister believes this will not only increase a mutual flow of tourists, but will also create favorable conditions for the implementation of major investment projects.

The ceremony was attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Tver Region Governor Andrei Shevelev as well as Paroc leadership and officials from the Finnish Cabinet of Ministers.
