Morocco — vital partner for Russian business

CASABLANCA, December 03ю /ITAR-TASS/. Morocco is an important and interesting partner for Russian business, director-general of the Russian-Arab Business Council Stanislav Yankovets, who takes part in the Russian Business Week in Casablanca, said in an interview with Itar-Tass on Monday.

“The Russian-Arab Business Council as well as the Russian-Moroccan Business Council will pay close attention to stronger business cooperation between Russia and Morocco,” he said. “We have created a good platform for efficient communication with Moroccan partners and for meetings among representatives of agencies, ministries and companies.”

“Russia is an important trade partner for Morocco, which sends there big batches of export goods,” Yankovets said. “Along with this I hope that we will reach success in promoting Russian agricultural products, mainly grain, to the markets of Morocco and other African countries. I am confident that agriculture is a promising sector of Russian-Moroccan cooperation.”

“Moreover, promotion of Russia’s high-tech products, in particular Glonass global navigation satellite system, to Morocco seems interesting,” he said. “In my opinion, there are opportunities for creating a Glonass competence center in Morocco. We are interested in this and we are confident that the Glonass system will be on demand in Morocco and in neighboring countries.
