Putin to meet with law students at Moscow Lomonosov State University

MOSCOW, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit the department of law of Moscow Lomonosov State University where he will meet with the students of law departments of various universities and will chair a meeting of Moscow University’s Board of Trustees, the Kremlin press service said.

The meeting is timed for the Lawyer’s Day marked annually since 2008 December 3. Putin, who himself graduated from the department of law at Leningrad State University in 1975 will talk to the students and answer their questions.

The Board of Trustees will pay special attention to a program of development of Moscow State University through to 2020 and to the possibility of creating the Sparrow Hills university science and research valley.

In June, University President Viktor Sadovnichy told reporters Vladimir Putin agreed to take chairmanship of the board. This will be the first meeting Putin will conduct in the capacity of chairman.
