Irradiated item of luggage on jet arriving from Moscow found at Kiev airport

Ukrainian security organizations refrained from comments on the find

KIEV, November (ITAR-TASS). A suspicious item of luggage unloaded from a jet that had arrived from Moscow was found Wednesday at Kiev’s Borispol airport, Ukrainian television said.

The item was examined by specialists who established that was emanating radiation, which exceeded the normal readings by a factor of several times.

At the time of reporting, it was still unknown what was hidden inside it. Operatives and experts of Ukraine’s Security Service were rushed to the airport.

Ukrainian security organizations refrained from comments on the find.
