MOSCOW, November 26, 17:24 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Sochi from November 27 to November 29 to check the readiness of the Black Sea resort city for the Winter Olympic Games, the Kremlin press service reports.
In particular, the head of state will inspect the Gornaya Karusel ski resort, as well the central Olympic stadium where the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies will be held.
The president will also receive reports on Sochi’s infrastructural readiness. Besides, a chain of sessions will be held in Sochi on the implementation of the state defense order and the equipment of the Armed Forces with state-or-the-art hardware within the framework of the state armament program for 2011-2020, the press service said.
