BANGKOK, November 26, 10:54 /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian Embassy in Thailand, Southeast Asia, asks Russian citizens to refrain from trips to the city of Bangkok except for the transfer to the Bangkok airport Suvarnabhumi over street unrest reported in the city, press attachй of the Russian Embassy Aleksander Mrykin told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“We ask our citizens to observe absolute cautiousness, fulfil all requirements of the law enforcement agencies and avoid the meeting places of demonstrators,” Mrykin said, noting the situation remains calm and does not raise concern in the Thai tourist zone.
The diplomat noted that the Russians had not addressed in the embassy over sweeping anti-government demonstrations in Bangkok.
