Doctor Roshal: Remedies for children under 10 should be free

President of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal stressed another problem of the Russian healthcare was the high prices on remedies in drugstores

MOSCOW, November 25. /ITAR-TASS/. President of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal says remedies for children under ten should be free.

“I believe that for children under ten remedies in Russia should be free, like it is in many countries worldwide,” he told a congress of patients on Monday.

He stressed another problem of the Russian healthcare was the high prices on remedies in drugstores.

“As a patient, I understand we have many problems /in healthcare/,” the doctor said. “I feel it very sharply as I come to a drugstore and have to leave two-three thousand roubles there.
