GENEVA, November 22, 23:00 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who arrived in Geneva late on Friday, has begun talks with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif.
Geneva is hosting talks between Iran and the Sextet of international mediators on the Iranian nuclear programme.
The Russian and Iranian foreign ministers are having a no-tie meeting.
A source in the Russian foreign ministry’s information department told Itar-Tass earlier that the Russian foreign minister also planned to meet with United Nations/League of Arab States Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi.
