STRELNA, November 22, 15:06 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia seeks to develop close cooperation with Turkey to ensure security at the Olympic Games in Sochi, President Vladimir Putin said at a session of the Russia-Turkey High Level Cooperation Council on Friday.
Military-technical cooperation is one of the priority fields of Russian-Turkish partnership, Putin said.
“The countries are expanding contacts between law enforcement agencies and special services in order to fight terrorism. We seek to develop close cooperation to ensure security at the Olympic Games in Sochi,” the Russian president said.
“To this end, I want to thank Turkish partners and Turkish companies for their effective work on building Olympic facilities,” he added.
