Russian president gives instructions to ministries after meeting with Communists’ leader

The leader of the CPRF expressed the hope that the United Russia faction in the State Duma would support the bills and the president’s instructions

MOSCOW, November 19, 23:45 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a number of instructions after the meeting with the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), Gennady Zyuganov. “Many instructions have been issued,” Zyuganov told reporters after the meeting.

The leader of the Communists said instructions had been given to ministries and departments in connection with the bills of the CPRF, specifically, the bill on the industry.

He said Putin had supported the idea of the CPRF, that drafted the bill on impermissibility of separatist calls. “This is not a matter of the freedom of speech and it does not mean encroaching on anybody’s right. The point is that any calls for splitting the country are extremely dangerous and even criminal,” Zyuganov said.

The leader of the CPRF expressed the hope that the United Russia faction in the State Duma would support the bills and the president’s instructions.
