Triple murder committed in Russia’s Kuban settlement

KRASNODAR, November 17, /ITAR-TASS/. A triple murder was committed in the settlement of Starominskaya in Krasnodar Territory early on Sunday morning. “Police have found three people killed and a girl injured at a private house in Zavodskaya Street. The injured girl was taken urgently to the children’s territorial hospital in the city of Krasnodar,” the Krasnodar territorial investigation department in Krasnodar Territory told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

A 36-year-old hostess of the house, her elder daughter and son-in-law were killed in the morning on November 16. All of them have got numerous knife wounds. Younger daughter Anastasia, 12, was also injured by the murderer, but the girl was found alive. The medical helicopter airlifted her to the city of Krasnodar, the best surgeons of the hospital have made a surgery on her.

A one-month-old newborn was also in the house, but he was not hurt, as the mother covered him from the killer with her body.

During the search at the murder scene the detectives have found a knife on the bottom of the water well. The knife was presumably the weapon of the murder. No robbery traces were found at the house.

Several theories of the murder are being investigated, the main theory is homicide out of personal hatred, senior criminal detective Sergei Tokarev said. “The main suspect is Yevgeny Marushko, 39, the former husband of the killed woman.”

23 mobile search teams were set up for the search. The Cossacks and hunters help the police in the search.
