MAKHACHKALA, November 4 (Itar-Tass) - A judge of a district court was shot dead in Makhachkala on Monday evening, a source of the republic's investigative authority told Itar-Tass.
Earlier a police source said judge Zainudin Madanov was killed in Makhachkala at about 18:00.
Two unknown persons opened fire on a man who died of the wounds, the Dagestani Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass.
Investigators were working at the site.
