MOSCOW, November 4 (Itar-Tass) - The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAK) reported about the killing of three gunmen, who were members of the gang in the Russian North Caucasian Republic of Dagestan on Monday.
“During the search operation the group of members of illegal armed units was found in the gorge between the settlements of Kuma and Kundy in Laki district of the republic,” the information centre of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee told Itar-Tass.
The commander of the operations headquarters decided to introduce the legal regime of the anti-terrorist operation within the administrative borders of Laki district.
“The bandits, who put up armed resistance to the law enforcement agencies, were killed in the shootout. They are being identified,” the NAK representative said, noting that Russian military forces have no losses.
“The search operation continues for the accomplices of the bandits,” NAK reported.
