MOSCOW, October 31 (Itar-Tass) - Russian air and space defence troops on Wednesday fired a short-range interceptor missile on the Sary-Shagan range, Kazakhstan, during unscheduled exercises of forces of nuclear deterrent, air and space defence, the Navy and the Air Force held under the supervision of the Russian president who is supreme commander in chief.
The interceptor missile of the air defence system successfully hit the target simulating a ballistic missile, the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry said.
