An-2 plane not registered, owned to private person

KRASNOYARSK, October 26 (Itar-Tass) - The An-2 plane, which has crashed in the Boguchany district, Krasnoyarsk Territory, has been owned to a private person, who lived in the settlement of Boguchany, chief aide of the West-Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office Oksana Gorbunova told Itar-Tass.

According to preliminary information, the plane has not been registered, Gorbunova said.

She said the man was pilot-in-command and his relative was second pilot. “Both men have died. Two geologists have been aboard the plane. The plane undershot the runway in the settlement of Taezhnyi. Two passengers reached the settlement and informed about the incident. Their condition is satisfactory,” Gorbunova said.

At present, the Yenisei Transport Prosecutor’s Office is carrying out an inspection.
