MOSCOW, October 26 (Itar-Tass) - The Just Russia Party's Chairman Nikolai Levichev criticizes Russia's joining to the WTO.

"The government's substantiation of Russia's accession to the WTO was not very intelligible," the politician said when speaking at the party congress in Moscow on Saturday.

Legislators held many meetings and parliamentary hearings with representatives from various economic sectors, and all of them said it was premature for Russia to join the WTO, Levichev noted.

The party leader believes Russia's economy was not ready to join the organization. A little more than a year has passed since the accession, but the results are unencouraging, he said. No sector has won. All have lost, even metallurgy. Russian consumers have won nothing either, he added.
