Moscow administration authorizes march in support of victims of political repressions

At 3.00 pm Thursday the organizers of the march are to meet with representatives of the Moscow services' departments

MOSCOW, October 24 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow Mayor's office has authorized the opposition's march scheduled for October 27, Pyotr Tsarkov, a member of the Committee on protest actions, told Itar-Tass.

"A representative of the mayor's office told us that the route of the march, running down both sides of the Boulevard ring from Pushkinskaya square to Turgenevskaya square, was approved by the city administration. Participants are to meet from 2 to 3 pm on October 27," Tsarkov said.

At 3.00 pm Thursday the organizers of the march are to meet with representatives of the Moscow services' departments which is usually done when a public act is coordinated, Tsarkov said.

The Mayor's office has not confirmed to Itar-Tass yet that the march has been coordinated.

The opposition organized the march in support of imprisoned participants in Bolotnaya square protest actions and all other political prisoners.
