MOSCOW, October 20 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin congratulated workers and veterans of the road industry with their professional holiday, celebrated on Sunday, the Kremlin reports on its site on the Internet.
“Your work is honourable and responsible, it is always seen. I believe you have every right to be proud of the results,” the telegram reads. “Lately, you have constructed thousand kilometres of modern highways and other transport facilities of the international security standards. You continue modernising the road infrastructures in the country’s regions.”
“Clear examples of your great work are unique bridges, tunnels and road junctions, which were ready for the APEC-2012 summit in Vladivostok and for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi,” the president said.
