YEKATERINBURG, October 16 (Itar-Tass) - The fire that broke out at the trading and entertainment centre Park-House in the Russian Ural city of Yekaterinburg is put out, the Sverdlovsk regional police department told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“The fire broke out in the room with refrigerators on the first floor of the department store Karusel. The preliminary fire area is 25 square meters. The fire is put out. As many as 23 fire engines and 81 people were involved in the fire-fighting efforts. The cause of the fire is being looked for,” the police source said.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that 823 people were evacuated from the trading centre. The regional police department reported about 20 workers of the trading centre evacuated from the building. “No people were injured,” the regional emergencies department said.

The call about the fire came at 21:46 Moscow time (16:46 GMT) on Wednesday.
