MOSCOW, October 15 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday will arrive in Tobolsk (Tyumen Oblast), where he will hold a meeting on the development of the petrochemical industry. The Kremlin press service reported that the meeting would be attended by RF presidential aide Andrei Belousov, federal ministers and CEOs of companies of the country’s petrochemical sector.

The RF head of state will visit an advanced enterprise of the national petrochemical industry - Tobolsk-Polymer. Putin will get familiarised with the propylene production lines and take part in the plant’s launching ceremony.

The Sibur company, which owns the plant, expects that the production facility with the capacity of 500 thousand tonnes of polypropylene per year, will enter the world’s top three manufacturers of this type of plastic. The project implementation will make it possible to annually process more than 600 tonnes of propane, produced from casing-head gas.
