The fire area in the attic of the building attached to Sovetskaya Hotel exceeded 100 square meters, the press service of the Moscow emergency situation department told Itar-Tass.

“At present, the fire is extinguished, no people were injured in the fire. The traffic on Leningradsky Avenue near the apartment block number 30 in the direction of Moscow Region is strongly complicated,” the press service said.
