New Russian copyright watchdog suggested

MOSCOW, October 2 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian government considers setting up a new copyright watchdog agency, a participant in the related conference told ltar-Tass. The conference was held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Premier Igor Shuvalov on Thursday.

The idea of the new copyright watchdog agency was suggested by Shuvalov himself, said the source. The positive decision in principle was made by the conference but there were no details yet, he said. The participants in the conference were instructed to work out the matters of the form and contents of the activities of the new state agency within a fortnight.
