YEKATERINBURG, October 1 (Itar-Tass) - The prosecutor’s office has requested for finding a meeting of the Yekaterinburg City Duma, at which Yevgeny Roizman was approved as mayor, illegitimate, a spokeswoman of the prosecutor’s office told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

“The prosecutor’s office believes that the local legislature’s meeting was illegitimate, because there was no quorum at the meeting,” she said.

Yevgeny Roizman, who is the head of the City Without Drugs foundation, was elected from the Civic Platform Party at the Yekaterinburg mayoral election.
