Strong bomb planted at restaurant in Dagestan’s Makhachkala unarmed

The bomb was made of a ten-litre bucket with 5-7 1.5-litre bottles attached to it

MAKHACHKALA, September 30 (Itar-Tass) - The sappers have unarmed on Monday morning a strong bomb, which the criminals had planted at a restaurant in the city of Makhachkala, North Caucasian Dagestan’s capital, on Sunday evening, a representative of the operations headquarters in Dagestan told Itar-Tass.

“The bomb was made of a ten-litre bucket with 5-7 1.5-litre bottles attached to it. The bucket was filled with ammonium saltpetre and aluminium powder. The bomb power has made 12 kilograms of trotyle. A robot has taken the bomb out of the restaurant and has unarmed it,” the representative said.

Three unidentified bandits broke in an entertainment centre in Makhachkala in the evening on Sunday, September 29. They opened fire in the ceiling and then escaped leaving a suspicious object that turned out to be a bomb at the restaurant.
