“Priority attention will be riveted to preschool education,” the president said

MOSCOW, September 30 (Itar-Tass) - The state needs public support to develop the preschool education system, make it qualitative and accessible, President Vladimir Putin said.

The participants in a congress will discuss key issues of the development of preschool education and work out common approaches towards solving problems in this field, Putin said.

“Priority attention will be riveted to preschool education,” the president said.

“New kindergartens are being built and opened in Russian regions. The work is done to introduce high-tech methods in kindergartens, to organize healthy nutrition and medical service,” the president said.

“In order to make preschool education to respond to the imperatives and be substantial the state’s efforts should be backed by scientific, pedagogical and expert organizations, and mass media. Of course, it is necessary to use experience and traditional of Russian preschool education,” he said.
