MOSCOW, September 29 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated the workers and veterans of the machine-building industry on their professional holiday, the press service of the Russian government reported.
“The machine-building complex is the core of any state’s economy. The dynamics of industrial growth, infrastructure development, enhancing the country’s defence capability depend on its efficient performance. And of course - the quality of life of millions of people,” the congratulatory message reads, in particular.
“Today the government is doing much to improve the industry, is systematically and consistently engaged in modernising machine-building enterprises, in the introduction of advanced science-intensive technologies and innovations, attracting investment in new production facilities. It pays special attention to raising the prestige of engineering and trade jobs,” said the prime minister.
