MOSCOW, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the 21st APEC heads of state and government meeting on the Indonesian island of Bali on October 7-8, the presidential press service said on Friday.
The key topic of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum will be deepening of regional cooperation under the conditions of world economic instability. APEC leaders will discuss ways to ensure stable and long-term growth, prospects for further integration in the Asia-Pacific region and liberalization of multilateral trade. The agenda proposed by presiding Indonesia is closely connected with the priorities of last year's Vladivostok summit and the recent St. Petersburg G20 summit.
Putin will have a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum.
