NIZHNY TAGIL, September 26 (Itar-Tass) - Iran should explain the military or civilian purposes of its nuclear program as soon as possible, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on Thursday.

A full-scale round of talks of the six international mediators and Iran's new negotiating team is planned for October, he noted.

There is common understanding that the talks must not be postponed any more, he said. The international community has open questions on the Iranian nuclear program. The negotiating process should gain momentum as soon as possible to find solutions to relieve the anxieties over what Tehran's choice is - peaceful or military, the diplomat noted.
