MOSCOW, September 23 (Itar-Tass) - Prime Minister DmitryM edvedev will meet with the leadership of the Federatio Council (FC) upper house of the Russian parliament on Monday, the government press service reports.
Those present at the meeting will discuss, in particular, the lawmaking activities of the Federal Assembly (parliament), ways to raise the quality of the laws being adopted, and the effectiveness of the management of state affairs. The agenda provides for a speech to be made by FC Speaker Valentina Matviyenko and a free exchange of opinions.
