MADRID, September 20. (Itar-Tass) – Two suburban trains collided at Sants station in Barcelona, Spain. The country’s state-owned rail company Renfe announced that 15 passengers were injured. Railway traffic has been put on hold at the station. The authorities are investigating into the causes of the accident.

This the second major accident on Spanish railways.  In July a train on the way from Madrid to Ferrol in the northwest of the country on Wednesday and carrying 218 passengers derailed at the approach to Santiago de Compostela station. 79 people died as a result of that accident.
