MOSCOW, September 20 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s State Duma has approved the candidacy of Tatyana Golikova as Audit Chamber chair. The candidate proposed by the president received 416 votes for, five against and two abstentions.

At the end of June candidacy of Golikova, who served as presidential aide, was nominated for this post by the parliamentary factions of the United Russia and the Liberal Democratic Party.

She will replace Sergei Stepashin in this position.
