KHABAROVSK, September 20 (Itar-Tass) - Khabarovsk municipal services have started repairs of supply lines and roads severely damaged by the flood.
The city's water, heat and electricity supply companies have begun repairs or preparations for repair and reconstruction work, the press service of the mayor's office said.
Following Khabarovsk Mayor Alexander Sokolov's instructions to start repair before the state of emergency is lifted, the municipal services have already formed teams of specialists for the work and concluded contracts with the regional disinfection station. The boiler room in the settlement of Ussurriisk must be ready by the cold season.
According to the preliminary data, under repair will be five sewage, two water supply and ten transformer stations and 359 water and 1,198 sewage wells. On the list are also 7.65 km of heat lines and about 68 km of water supply and more than 44 km of sewage lines.
The work must be completed before frosts - in early October.
