MOSCOW, September 19 (Itar-Tass) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday will chair a governmental commission session on the use of information technologies for improving the quality of life and conditions for the conduct of entrepreneurial activities.
A government press service official pointed out that the session would focus on first priority measures to raise the citizens' degree of satisfaction with public and municipal services and determine the importance of the provision of such services in electronic form.
Participants in the session will also consider matters aimed at introducing an identity card of the citizen of the RF with an electronic data storage medium and the possibility of the use of the infrastructure of the universal electronic card for these purposes. Those present at the panel's session will discuss regulations for and membership of the Commission's working bodies.
The Commission's session will be held in a video conference mode with the participation of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Vice-Premiers Sergei Prikhodko and Arkady Dvorkovich, presidential aides Andrei Belousov and Igor Shchyogolev, Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Minister of Justice Alexander Konovalov, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev, Minister of Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov, representatives of executive power bodies, and directors of relevant enterprises will also participate in the Commission's meeting.
