6 people dead, 10 injured in road accident in Russia’s Buryatia

ULAN-UDE, September 18 (Itar-Tass) - The death toll of a major road accident involving a minibus in the Russian Republic of Buryatia, Eastern Siberia, rose to six people, and ten people were injured, the Siberian regional emergency situation centre told Itar-Tass on Wednesday. Five road accident victims were earlier reported.

The road accident involving a minibus Istana and a truck KAMAZ occurred at the 104th kilometer of the A-161 highway in Tunka district of the Russian republic on Wednesday.

“Six people died in the road accident and ten people were injured, all passengers of the bus Istana were taken to the district hospital in the village of Kyren,” the emergencies centre added.
