Lavrov: Russia and US not going “usurp work” on chemical weapons

Russia's Foreign Minister believes this work should involve international experts

ASTANA, September 12 (Itar-Tass) - Russia and the United States are not going to “usurp the work” on chemical weapons, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“This work should involve international experts, UN experts and experts of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. We’ve started substantial talks with the US on this issue,” Lavrov said.
