MOSCOW, September 10 (Itar-Tass) - "There is no talk about Russia's possible military participation in the settlement of the Syrian crisis even if the United States begins military operations," Chairman of the Duma Committee on International Affairs Aleksei Pushkov told a news conference on Tuesday.
Earlier, Russia had repeatedly declared that it would oppose the scenario of the external military interference; "but Russia 's armed participation in the conflict is not at issue," Pushkov said.
"Moscow persistently comes out for settlement of the situation by political and diplomatic means," Pushkov stressed.
