Russia to supply arms to Libya and train personnel

“We have stated good prospects for military-technical cooperation, including arms supplies and personnel training,” Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said

MOSCOW, September 10 (Itar-Tass) - Russia will supply arms and military hardware to Libya and train personnel for strengthening border security, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Libyan counterpart Muhammad Abdelaziz on Tuesday.

“We have stated good prospects for military-technical cooperation, including arms supplies and personnel training,” Lavrov said. “We have discussed possible projects that can help our Libyan friends to strengthen border security.”
