ROSTOV-ON-DON, September 9 (Itar-Tass) - Unidentified persons attacked a precinct in Rostov-on-Don the night of Monday, press secretary of the regional election commission Vladimir Belokonev said.
“The incident occurred after the polling station was closed already - unidentified persons, supposedly with guns, made everyone there lie face down on the floor, grabbed the documents and disappeared,” he said. “Several people had to address for medical assistance.”
Belokonev said later all the documents were found thrown near the precinct’s building. The reason of the attack is not clear.
Police investigation is underway.
