MOSCOW, September 9 (Itar-Tass) - Acting mayor of Moscow, self-nominee Sergei Sobyanin is winning the elections of the RF capital’s mayor on the results of processing of 98.03 percent of the election protocols.

According to the latest data of the Moscow city election commission, he has gained the support of 51.15 percent, or 1 million 164 thousand 089 votes of Muscovites. Opposition leader Alexei Navalny, nominated by the Republican Party of Russia - People’s Freedom Party (RPR-Parnas) is second with 27.37 percent or 623 thousand votes.

They are followed by first deputy head of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (CPRF) Ivan Melnikov (10.73 percent or 244 thousand 223 votes), chairman of the Yabloko party Sergei Mitrokhin (3.54 percent or 80 thousand 538 votes), representative of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) Mikhail Degtyarev (2.87 percent or 65 thousand 396 votes) and chairman of A Just Russia Nikolai Levichev (2.81 percent or 63 thousand 979 votes).
