MOSCOW, September 9 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet congratulated Sobyanin on his victory in the Moscow mayoral elections, acting mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin said on Monday. “Nobody has congratulated me yet,” he said with a smile.
Answering journalists’ questions, Sobyanin said that he had a telephone conversation with the president of Russia, during which the president asked him about the election progress. Sobyanin did not rule out that “today or tomorrow” he could hold a meeting with the president at which the discussion of the Moscow mayoral elections would be continued.
