MOSCOW, September 8. (Itar-Tass) – Voting day update at 11pm.
Moscow City Election Commission has published updated figures on Moscow mayoral vote after processing 10.15% of the ballots. Incumbent mayor Sergei Sobyanin leads with 55.28%, opposition figurehead Alexey Navalny is in second place with 23.71%. Ivan Melnikov of the Communist party is third with 10.21%.
Liberal Democrat Mikhail Degtyarev has received 3.09% of the vote. He is followed by Sergei Mitrokhin of Yabloko party with 3.15%. Chairman of A Just Russia party Nikolai Levichev is last with 2.95% of the vote.
