MOSCOW, September 8 (Itar-Tass) - The Moscow Mayor’s Office has approved a rally of supporters of a mayoral candidate Alexei Navalny, which is due on September 9, acting head of the regional security department, Alexei Mayorov, said on Sunday.
“We have authorised a rally for 2,500 participants in Bolotnaya Square between 7 and 10 p.m.,” he said.
Mayorov added that the event’s participants would not be in the park’s territory, but will occupy only a part of Bolotnaya Street and Bolotnaya Embankment. This space would be sufficient for the announced number of participants, he added.
