MOSCOW, September 7 (Itar-Tass) - Eight people died and twelve others were injured in a head-on collision of two busses in the Pskov Region early Saturday morning, the Emergency Situations Ministry has told ITAR-TASS.
"The road accident occurred at 04:30 some 30 kilometres away from the town of Pustoshka. Eight died on the site and twelve others were injured. They are being taken to hospital,” the source said.
The Pskov Region’s office of the Emergencies Ministry said that after the collision an excursion bus from Riga carrying 45 rolled into the ditch.
